Job description

We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Calypso development and Java programming. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Calypso architecture, Java/J2EE technologies, financial products, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Calypso-based solutions in a banking and financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance Calypso applications using Java and related technologies.
• Work on Calypso modules, workflows, configuration, and custom development based on business requirements.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Java‑based components, APIs, interfaces, and integrations.
• Work with Calypso APIs and frameworks to implement business functionality and system enhancements.
• Integrate Calypso with external systems and downstream/upstream applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and provide technical resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and release activities.
• Support application upgrades, enhancements, and migration activities.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and SDLC processes.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Calypso development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java/J2EE development.
• Good knowledge of Object‑Oriented Programming, Collections, Multithreading, and Java design patterns.
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with Calypso APIs, Customization, Workflow, and Configuration.
• Good understanding of Calypso architecture and application components.
• Experience working with XML, JSON, and system integrations.
