Through our health, nutrition, education, livelihood, and research initiatives, we touch the lives of nearly 1.5 million people every year, particularly among tribal and marginalized communities. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager to lead a CSR‑supported health project focused on improving maternal and child health outcomes in rural West Bengal.

  • Project: CSR Health Project 2026–27
  • Location: North 24 Parganas and Kolkata, West Bengal
  • Duration: One year (extendable based on performance and funding)
  • Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month (consolidated)
About the Project

The project aims to improve maternal and child health, address nutrition gaps, increase vaccination coverage, and strengthen community health systems in selected rural areas of West Bengal. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading implementation and ensuring smooth execution of project activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Rural Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in health‑sector projects.
  • Strong experience in maternal and child health, nutrition, vaccination programmes, and community health systems strengthening.
  • Good understanding of government schemes such as JSY, JSSK, ICDS, and Poshan Abhiyaan.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, programme coordination, reporting, and donor communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bengali (mandatory) and English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, implementation, and quality assurance of all project activities.
  • Supervise field teams and ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with local health departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and ICDS centres.
  • Manage MIS systems and monitor project outputs and outcomes in real time.
  • Organize community outreach programmes, health camps, and mobilization activities.
  • Prepare progress reports, donor updates, success stories, and policy briefs.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure transparent utilization of funds.
