Job Description

Main purpose of the role: Ensure the caf operates efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service at all times.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be

• Previous experience in the hospitality sector (caf, restaurant, hotel) an advantage;
• Barista experience is desirable but not essential;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage;
• Passion for food, coffee and ability to inspire customers;

Main duties

• Actively live Centra brand-values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based;
• Always ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority by greeting each customer as if it€,,s their first visit to the caf and consistently deliver an exceptional service;
• Adhere to all standards required including the policies, procedures, instructions and guidelines set out for the caf;
• Assist customers to improve their knowledge of our food and beverages;
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store/caf policy;
• Merchandise and present the caf to the highest standard at all time and in accordance with relevant guidelines;
• Ensure that all areas of the caf/your area are kept clean and tidy to the required food safety standards.

About The Locality

FULL TIME ONLY. No part timeposition available. We are a busy, friendly cafe located across from Marley Park in Rathfarnham. We are looking for a friendly hardworking and enthusiastic full time barista to join our team. The ideal person will have a positive attitude, be reliable, enjoy chatting with customers, work well under pressure and as part of a team in our busy cafe enviorment.
