Job summary
Ascendum Solutions India in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Passive Safety Simulation Engineer to lead vehicle crash analysis activities and drive simulation-based design solutions. You will oversee correlation studies between simulations and physical tests, ensuring robust passive safety development.
The role requires hands-on LS-DYNA, ANSA, HyperWorks, PRIMER and MetaPost usage, with expertise in frontal/side impact and VRU analyses, and knowledge of ECE, FMVSS and NCAP protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in full vehicle crash analysis.
- Expertise in frontal, side impact and VRU analyses.
- Hands-on with LS-DYNA, ANSA, HyperWorks, PRIMER and MetaPost.
- Knowledge of ECE, FMVSS and NCAP protocols.
- Experience in passive safety simulations and design development.

Job description
What Were Looking For:
- Full Vehicle Crash Analysis experience
- Strong expertise in Frontal / Side Impact / VRU analysis
- Hands-on experience with LS-DYNA, ANSA, HyperWorks, PRIMER & MetaPost
- Strong knowledge of ECE, FMVSS & NCAP protocols
- Experience in Passive Safety simulations and design development
- Vehicle development & safety process knowledge
- BEV / Fuel Cell Vehicle exposure is an added advantage
- Optimization & data analytics experience is a plus
