Job summary

Tata AutoComp in Chennai requires a skilled Crash Analyst with hands-on LS-DYNA expertise to drive structural improvements and ensure safety compliance.

You will interpret crash results, assess FE model integrity, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance crashworthiness in automotive programs.

Knowledge of NCAP, FMVSS, ECE, IIHS regulations and experience with ANSA/HyperMesh for FE mesh generation are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Crash Analysis / Crashworthiness.
• Hands-on experience in LS-DYNA solver.
• Experience in ANSA or HyperMesh for FE model generation and meshing.
• Good understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) concepts.
• Knowledge of automotive safety regulations such as NCAP, FMVSS, ECE, IIHS.
• Experience in model checking, connections, contacts, materials, and boundary conditions.
• Ability to interpret crash simulation results and recommend structural improvements.
