Job summary

Arrow Associates Infrastructure Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking a CAD Technician to manage CAD activities for large-scale underground tunnel projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of CAD/drafting experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on underground tunnel infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenRail.
• Strong understanding of alignment geometry, corridor modelling, cross-sections, rail profiles, and utility interfaces.
• Capability to work with multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong documentation and quality-control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows for linear infrastructure projects.
• Manage end-to-end CAD production process for underground tunnel road project, highway, and railway design deliverables.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure drawings meet project, client, and international standards.
• Review and approve final drawings, models, and design deliverables.
• Coordinate CAD activities between disciplines including highways, structures, drainage, utilities, geotechnical, and rail alignment.
• Collaborate with design managers, discipline leads, and global teams to ensure seamless data flow and design integration.
• Manage interfaces with international consultants and clients.
• Ensure compliance with global standards such as AASHTO, AREMA, BS/EN, IRC, or project-specific guidelines.
• Promote continuous improvement and digital innovation in CAD workflows.
• Establish best practices, automated tools, and scripting to enhance productivity.

MEP, Electrical and S&T for the CAD technician for looking to hire in Mumbai location

The CAD Technician will manage all CAD activities for large‑scale underground tunnel projects such as highways, expressways, rail lines, metro corridors, and track alignments. This role is responsible for establishing drafting standards, managing complex design data, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables aligned with international engineering standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing CAD environments for Indian projects, strong coordination skills, and the ability to lead digital engineering workflows across dispersed teams.

. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows for linear infrastructure projects.

3. Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical,mechanical and civilEngineering or related field.
  
• We have multiple requirements because of the large scale of the project.
• 6+ years of CAD/drafting experience in infrastructure engineering.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience on the underground tunnel infrastructure projects (roads, underground tunnel, highways, metro, rail, LRT, track design, etc.).
  
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenRail, and related platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of alignment geometry, corridor modelling, cross‑sections, rail profiles, and utility interfaces.
  
• Capability to work with multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong documentation and quality‑control mindset
  

C. Software & Technical Expertise

• AutoCAD, MicroStation, 3D
  
• Basic Exposure on Civil 3D, Open Roads/Open Rail, Navisworks and BIM Work Flows.
  
• Ensure all CAD systems are updated, licensed, and configured according to project requirements.
  
• Oversee digital data management, file structures, reference models, and version control.
