Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India in Bengaluru is seeking a CAD NX customization specialist to develop standalone and integrated desktop applications, macros and plugins using .NET and NXOpen APIs. You will drive end-to-end automation for automotive design, gather requirements, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure timely releases.

The role requires 3-6 years of CAD/CAE customization experience, preferably with Siemens NX, and strong skills in C# / VB.NET or C/C++.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical or related field from a reputed university
• 3-6 years of relevant CAD/CAE customization experience, preferably Siemens NX
• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET or C/C++
• Experience with NX-Open APIs and NX applications (Modelling, Drafting)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Usage of NX-Open APIs for prototyping, development and complex solutions
• Build and deploy projects to test environment
• Create Architecture Documentation and Specifications
• Create UI logic and ensure coding standards
• Participate in SDLC and Agile (Scrum) methodologies
• Understand architectural patterns (SOA, microservices, enterprise patterns)
• Develop Quick PoC with latest technologies
• Deep knowledge of C#/VB .Net and NX

Job Summary

• Develop standalone/integrated desktop applications, Macros & Plugins for CAD customization using .NET (C#), VB or other relevant languages.
• Proficiency in scripting, XML or other configurable file formats
• Implementation of automation requirement in the area of automotive design in the space of CAD Customization for RD.
• Involving in requirement gathering to end-to-end delivery of automation, driving program, coordinating projects, executing and aligning to the overall strategy, providing direction to the team, making project plans and schedules.
• Organizing, moderating, coordinating and documenting meetings/sessions to align technical decisions with multiple stakeholders for areas of responsibility
• Negotiating with clients and reviewing changes, administration tasks including report writing, and ensuring that the project adheres to the release timeline.
• Understand and comply with best coding practices to ensure high quality deliveries.

Job Responsibility

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Usage of NX-Open API’s for prototyping, development and complex solutions
