Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Bangalore is seeking an experienced M-CAD tool developer to customize MCAD workflows, integrate new functions, and embed AI in the MCAD environment to support rail vehicle engineering.

The role requires expertise with Creo, PDMLink, CreoView, scripting in C#, Python, and PTC Toolkit, plus strong English; German is a plus. You will collaborate with international teams and translate complex requirements into automated tools.

Qualifications

• A technical degree is required.
• Extensive MCAD tool experience with Creo, PDMLink, CreoView and rail-vehicle engineering.
• Creo/PDMLink system administrator experience.
• Ability to understand complex technical relationships.
• Proven ability to implement complex requirements into automated tools.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Python, VBScript and APIs; MS Office proficiency.
• Experience integrating AI in MCAD tools for automation.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with international cross-site teams.
• User-oriented thinking and action.

We are looking for M-CAD (PT/NX) Tool Development

You’ll make a difference by

• Customization tasks in MCAD Enviroment to optimize workflows for engineering users
• New development and integration of functions and workflows within the MCAD Enviroment environment
• Integration of AI solutions into the existing MCAD environment

Desired Skills

• You hold a successfully completed technical degree
• You bring extensive professional experience working with the M-CAD tools like Creo, PDMLink, CreoView, as well as in the engineering of rail vehicles
• You have knowledge as a Creo/PDMLink system administrator
• You have a strong ability to understand complex technical relationships
• You are able to quickly grasp complex requirements and have proven experience in implementing them into automated tool solutions
• You possess solid programming skills, e.g. in PTC Toolkit and API’s, VBS, C# and Python, as well as solid proficiency in MS Office applications and a general affinity for IT tools
• You have experience in implementing AI solutions in tools for the automation of technical processes
• You have fluent English skills; good German language skills are a plus
• You have experience collaborating with international, cross-site project teams and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• In your role, you consistently think and act in a user-oriented manner
