SEGULA Technologies in India seeks a CAD engineering specialist to advance product development in automotive projects. You will work with CATIA and 3DX, manage large assemblies, and contribute to PLM-driven workflows from concept to production.

The role requires expertise in solid, surface, and assembly modelling, detailing drawings, and applying product structure principles. Experience with variant management and data analysis in Excel is a plus.

• Experience in automotive or product development environments.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and product lifecycle management.
• Understanding of features, options and variant management principles.
• Experience with large assembly management and CAD performance optimization.
• Expert-level proficiency in CATIA and Dassault Systèmes 3DX platforms.
• Extensive CAD modelling: solid, surface and assembly modelling.
• Experience with assembly decomposition, restructuring and exploded views.
• Strong product structure understanding within CAD environments.
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings from CAD models.
• Knowledge of vehicle coordinate systems and their application in CAD.
• Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and its CAD implications.
• Experience handling variant data; proficient with Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry or product development environment.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Understanding of features, options, and variant management principles.
• Experience with large assembly management and performance optimization in CAD
• Expert‑level proficiency in CATIA and Dassault Systems 3DExperience (3DX) platforms.
• Extensive experience with various CAD modelling techniques, including solid modelling, surface modelling, and assembly modelling.
• Demonstrated experience in CAD assembly decomposition, re‑structuring, and block generation, including assembly exploded view creation.
• Strong understanding and practical application of product structure principles within CAD environments.
• Proficiency in creating detailed technical drawings from CAD models.
• Knowledge of vehicle coordinate systems (VCS, VSS, etc.) and their application in CAD.
• Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and its implications for CAD design and product structure.
• Experience in handling positional variabilities in CAD models for effective variant management.
• Proficiency in managing and compiling complex variant data, ideally using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex CAD structures and their relationship to product features and options.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, sequential workflow.
