Job summary

Tata Technologies in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a mechanical design engineer to design and develop piston, piston ring, cylinder, and engine components using PTC Creo. You will create 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.

The role requires 3-8 years in automotive engine or powertrain design, strong Creo skills, GD&T and APQP knowledge, and collaboration with CAE, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure conformance to standards.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in automotive engine or powertrain component design.
• Strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo.
• Knowledge of piston, cylinder, engine components, GD&T, DFMEA, and APQP.
• Experience with Windchill/PLM tools preferred.
