Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automotive.
• Proficient in DFMEA and tolerance stack-up.
• Able to support engine builds and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop parts for the automotive industry, including casting and sheet metal.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with GD&T.
• Coordinate with team members to solve engineering problems.

Desired Experience Range: 5-10 Years Max

Location of Requirement: Pune (at client office)

Must-Have

• Design & development of parts made of Casting, Sheetmetal, plumbing etc. for automotive industry (Engine & engine peripherals parts experience preferred)
• DFMEA, Tolerance Stack-up, Design reviews
• CREO 3D CAD modeling, Drawing creation / checking, GD&T, BOM
• Support engine build, validation
• Problem solving skills under guidance from experience team members
• Good communication skills & team members

Good-to-Have:

• Automotive domain experience
• DFMEA experience
• Validation experience
• Knowledge of product lifecycle & release in PLM system
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes & design for assembly
• Basic knowledge of engine components function is preferred but not mandatory.
