Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of AV CAD drafting experience.
• Experience on commercial or corporate AV projects.
• Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation-ready AV shop drawings from approved designs and BOQs.
• Develop floor plans, RCPs, raceways, equipment layouts, and cable routing.
• Prepare AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate with Architecture, IT, Electrical, HVAC, and Project teams to ensure accuracy.
• Verify equipment dimensions, mounting requirements, cable routing feasibility, and installation constraints using OEM documentation.
• Review drawings for installation feasibility while ensuring compliance with approved designs.
• Maintain drawing revisions and CAD standards throughout project timelines.
• Prepare IFC, Shop Drawings, and As-Built Drawings.

Summary

We are looking for an AV CAD Engineer to develop accurate, installation-ready AV drawings based on approved designs. The role involves preparing detailed CAD drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring drawings are compliant with project requirements and Qubix CAD standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare installation-ready AV shop drawings from approved BOQs, AV designs, and architectural/interior drawings.
• Develop floor plans, RCP layouts, raceway plans, equipment layouts, rack elevations, installation details, and cable routing drawings.
• Prepare AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, connectivity drawings, and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Interior, Electrical, HVAC, IT, and Project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Verify equipment dimensions, mounting requirements, cable routing feasibility, and installation constraints using OEM documentation.
• Review drawings for installation feasibility while ensuring compliance with approved designs.
• Maintain drawing revisions, CAD standards, title blocks, and project documentation.
• Prepare IFC, Shop Drawings, and As-Built Drawings within project timelines.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Good understanding of AV systems, signal flow, and equipment layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, RCP, and AV drawings.
• Knowledge of cabling, racks, and installation drawings.
• Strong coordination, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications
