Persistent is seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to support global engineering and product development by creating, modifying, and maintaining high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models. The role requires hands-on experience with CATIA, NX or SolidWorks and collaboration with global teams in a Shared Service Centre environment.

You will prepare part and assembly drawings, manage revisions, and ensure design documentation and PLM data integrity while contributing to new product development, design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of CAD design experience.
• Hands-on expertise with CATIA, Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
• Strong 2D drafting, 3D modelling and assembly design skills.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience with PLM and engineering change processes.

About Position:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to support global engineering and product development activities by creating, modifying, and maintaining high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with leading CAD platforms such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks and will contribute to engineering design, drawing releases, and change management processes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global engineering teams, manufacturing functions, and product development stakeholders within a dynamic Shared Service Centre (SSC) environment.

What You'll Do:

• Create and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs.

Expertise You'll Bring:
