Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and support scalable server-side services using C#/.NET and AWS.

You will build REST APIs and gRPC services, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and observability in production.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in C#/.NET and AWS to develop and support scalable backend services in a production environment.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on development experience in C# / .NET primary skill.
• Experience with AWS, particularly ECS/EKS and containerized applications.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, gRPC services and backend applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and backend design.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on exposure to messaging/queuing technologies such as SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Argo or Octopus and Bitbucket.
• Production support awareness with PagerDuty, Coralogix and Grafana Cloud.
• Experience with batch processing and observability practices.
• Use Jira and Confluence for delivery tracking and technical documentation.
