Job summary

Tata Elxsi is seeking an experienced Wi‑Fi EasyMesh WLAN Developer to design, develop, and maintain WLAN software solutions for mesh networking products. The role requires strong expertise in IEEE 802.11 protocols, embedded Linux development, and wireless networking technologies.

You will design controllers/agents, implement EasyMesh specs, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with product, QA, and system engineering teams to ensure robust, certified WLAN solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience in WLAN/Wi‑Fi development and wireless protocols.
• Strong background in embedded Linux and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Wi‑Fi EasyMesh Controller and Agent functionalities.
• Implement and optimize Wi‑Fi Alliance EasyMesh specifications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot wireless networking issues.
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux networking applications.
• Perform protocol validation and interoperability testing.
• Work closely with product, QA, and system engineering teams.
• Participate in performance tuning and scalability improvements.
• Support certification activities related to Wi‑Fi Alliance standards.
