Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Lead Senior Software Engineer in Bengaluru to design, develop, and deliver enterprise software in an Agile setting. You will analyze requirements, own complex technical challenges, and drive work to completion while ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

Required are 8–12 years of experience with C++/Java, cloud experience, and strong debugging skills. Collaboration across geographies, and a focus on scalable solutions, are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MCA, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of software development experience.
• Strong programming knowledge in C++ and Java.
• Understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of Unix, databases, and RDBMS concepts.
• Experience with database migration and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Agile development and CI/CD practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments through to completion.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Lead Senior Software Engineer at OpenText, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions within an Agile development environment. You will analyze requirements, identify technical risks, develop high-quality software, and help ensure solutions meet standards for performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

You will work closely with teams across geographies, take ownership of complex technical challenges, and drive assigned work through to completion. Your strong technical and analytical skills will be critical in resolving complex defects and customer challenges.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
