Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a skilled C# Developer to design, develop, and maintain Windows-based utilities for Embedded IoT products. You will collaborate with firmware, hardware, and QA teams to build configuration, testing, production, and diagnostic tools communicating with IoT devices over multiple interfaces.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining Windows Forms/WPF applications, implementing Modbus, MQTT, HTTP protocols, and integrating with SQL databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/IT or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
• 2-3 years of C# application development experience.
• Experience with utilities for Embedded/IoT preferred.
• Experience with Windows Forms or WPF and OOP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C# Windows desktop applications (WinForms/WPF).
• Develop production, configuration, testing, and diagnostic utilities for Embedded IoT devices.
• Interface with embedded devices using Serial, USB, Ethernet, BLE, TCP/IP.
• Implement protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, and custom.
• Interact with SQL databases for logs and production data.
• Develop multithreaded apps for real-time device communication.
• Debug communication issues between PC apps and embedded hardware.
• Create user-friendly interfaces for manufacturing and service engineers.
• Maintain existing utilities and add new features per product needs.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to validate devices.
• Generate reports and production data; perform unit tests and optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.

Job Title: C# Developer – Embedded IoT Utilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled C# Developer to design, develop, and maintain Windows-based utilities for Embedded IoT products. The ideal candidate will work closely with embedded firmware, hardware, and QA teams to develop configuration, testing, production, and diagnostic tools that communicate with IoT devices using various communication interfaces and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C# Windows desktop applications (Windows Forms/WPF).


• Develop production, configuration, testing, and diagnostic utilities for Embedded IoT devices.


• Integrate applications with embedded devices using Serial (UART), USB, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, BLE, and TCP/IP communication.


• Implement communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, and custom protocols.


• Interface with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or SQLite for storing device information, logs, and production records.


• Develop multithreaded applications for handling real-time device communication.


• Debug communication issues between PC applications and embedded hardware.


• Create user-friendly interfaces for manufacturing, field testing, and service engineers.


• Maintain existing utilities and implement new features based on product requirements.


• Work closely with firmware and hardware teams to validate device functionality.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/.NET.


• Experience with Windows Forms or WPF application development.


• Good understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.


• Experience with serial communication using COM ports.
