Ascendion is seeking a Senior Firmware Developer with strong expertise in C++ and embedded systems to design, develop, test, debug, and optimize firmware for embedded devices in Bengaluru. The role emphasizes high performance, reliability, and efficient hardware-software integration.

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware, develop low-level drivers and modules, and work with microcontrollers, processors, and peripheral interfaces.

• Strong experience in C and modern C++ for embedded systems.
• Hands-on firmware development across embedded platforms.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and hardware interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C and C++.
• Develop low-level drivers and firmware modules for embedded systems.
• Work with microcontrollers, processors, and peripheral interfaces.
• Implement and debug communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and USB.
• Analyze hardware-software integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize firmware for memory usage, performance, power consumption, and real-time responsiveness.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and firmware validation.
• Use debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD interfaces.
• Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and development standards.
