Job summary

FIS - Fidelity Information Services invites applications for a C/ C++ IST Switch Developer in Bengaluru (Bangalore) and Chennai. The role is part of the Professional services team supporting IST_SWITCH, IST/Clearing, and related products for global clients.

You will design, code, test, and deploy software, collaborate with product managers, and help implement client solutions across regions. We seek candidates with 7+ years of IT experience, strong C and C++, Oracle SQL, Unix shell scripting,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience.
• 7+ years of software implementation, professional services, or system integration experience.
• Experience with IST Switch, IST Clearing, MAS or equivalent EFT switch.
• Experience gathering and analyzing client requirements.
• Experience in ISO8583, EMV, and payments domain.
• Experience in software testing, deployment, configuration, or client onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

About the team

We are Professional services Team, supporting FIS Payments Products like IST/Switch, IST/Clearing, FN, Data Navigator, MAS, Payments Monitor for the clients across various regions like Europe, Middle East, India, Asia Pacific, and North America.

What you will be doing:

• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)
• Writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.
• May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results.
• May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

Experience

• Overall 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software implementation, professional services, application consulting, system integration.
• Development and Customization exp in IST Switch, IST Clearing, MAS or equivalent EFT switch.
• Experience gathering and analyzing client business requirements.
• Experience in ISO8583, EMV, Payments Domain.
• Experience participating in software testing, deployment, configuration, or client onboarding activities.

Technical Skills

• C (Programming Language).
• C++ Programming Language.
• Oracle database, Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Unix OS and Shell Scripting
