Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a C# Automation Infrastructures Engineer in India for a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week at an HPE office. You will join Zerto’s QA Automation team to design, implement, and evolve automation frameworks, leveraging AI Copilot and a mature CI pipeline.

You’ll contribute to automated test suites, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase coverage and reliability of our cloud-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 7–12 years of C# automation development and strong OOP design background.
• Experience with AI copilots and modern automation tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Join a mature QA Automation team and work within an agile squad.
• Analyse current automation framework and propose architectural improvements.
• Design and develop automation infrastructures and CI/CD integrations.
• Develop AI/Copilot based solutions to boost productivity.
• Automate test cases and fix automation bugs reported by the team.
• Lead code reviews and mentor QA engineers and developers.
• Contribute to Jenkins CI processes and Groovy scripting adaptation.
• Investigate CI/test failures to identify root causes and improve product quality.
• Mentor teammates to increase automation coverage of new and legacy features.

Zerto (an HPE Company) is looking for an experienced .NET developer to join a mature automation team supporting Zerto's customers, where they'll contribute toa 10+ year-old, actively evolving C#/.NET automation framework used across GitHub-based CI workflows.

What you’ll do

• Be a significant member of Zerto QA Automation team, which operates as an agile Squad (AKA Scrum)
• Analyse current framework, propose innovations and improvements based on your experience
• Design and develop automation infrastructures
• Propose, Design and Develop AI/Copilot based solutions to significantly increase productivity
• Automate test cases based on existing tests portfolio
• Fix automation bugs reported by the team and internal customers
• Perform code reviews to peers and mentees
• Take active part of the Jenkins based, CI process, implement and adapt groovy scripts to evolving requirements
• Investigates failures of tests run by CI till root cause and report bugs, in order to increase product quality
• Train & Mentor team partners within QA engineers, interns and developers to increase automation coverage of new and legacy features

What you need to bring

• Have a B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science
• Have a proven knowledge, experience and expertise with AI tools and terminology, specifically Copilot
• At least 7-12years of C# development experience in automation with strong background of OOP design and implementation
• Self-learner, able to accumulate system vision from training, documentation, and self-exploration
• Change agent. Able to propose scalable solutions & significant refactoring improvements
• Team player, yet with ability to work independently
• Experience defining test cases, conducting test runs, investigating failures, debugging and fixing automation issues, and submitting well-documented bug reports
