Job summary

noon is building an ecosystem of digital products and services powering everyday life. We seek a Buying Assistant to support the buying and merchandising team in product selection, inventory planning, and supplier coordination to keep the right products available at the right time.

You will manage listings, coordinate with sellers, track stock, and help ensure competitive pricing across platforms, while collaborating with internal teams for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Highly detail oriented with strong business sense.
• Analytical and numerically astute with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet targets.
• Commercial and financial awareness with understanding of impact on profitability.
• Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations for retail and marketplace partners.
• Support vendor onboarding, registration and agreement management with internal stakeholders.
• Manage product listings and assortment with accurate content, images and information live on the platform.
• Coordinate with sellers and content teams to resolve listing discrepancies.
• Support PO creation, replenishment and order coordination with vendors and internal teams.
• Track inventory and coordinate replenishment to minimise OOS.
• Monitor pricing against offline retail and market trends for competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with fulfilment, QC and internal teams for smooth order processing and seller fulfilment.
• Work with Finance to follow up on payments and close outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless buying and operational execution.

What you'll do:

The Buying Assistant will support the buying and merchandising team in executing product selection, inventory planning, and supplier coordination. This role is critical in ensuring that the right products are available at the right time, in line with business goals, while maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy across buying processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations for retail and marketplace partners.
• Support vendor onboarding, registration and agreement management in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Manage product listings and assortment, ensuring accurate content, images and product information are live on the platform.
• Coordinate with sellers and internal content teams to resolve listing discrepancies, content errors and mismatches.
• Support PO creation, replenishment and order coordination with vendors and internal teams.
• Track inventory and stock levels and proactively coordinate replenishment to minimise OOS.
• Monitor and benchmark product pricing against offline retail and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with fulfilment, QC and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, inwarding, returns and overall seller fulfilment.
• Work closely with Finance and partners to follow up on payments and ensure timely closure of outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of buying and operational activities.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Highly detail oriented with proven strong business sense
• Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets.
• Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the customer order fulfilment as well as profitability.
• Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
