Job summary

Supply Technologies in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Buyer to manage inventory and supply planning across distribution centres, ensuring optimal stock levels and on-time delivery. You will raise and manage purchase/work orders, maintain supplier relationships, monitor forecasts, and keep ERP/MRP data accurate.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in inventory management, buying, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Ability to optimise stock levels and meet customer delivery targets.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and maintaining accurate data.
  • Ability to resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and material issues.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • For assigned portfolio of items, optimize inventory levels across multiple distribution centres and achieve customer on time delivery goals.

  • Review site-level demand forecasts by SKU and work with forecast analysts to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Maintainaccuratesystem data, such as bills of material, purchase costs, lead times, etc.
  • Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and coordinate disposition of non-conforming material.

Job description

The Buyer is responsible for managing inventory and supply planning activities to ensure optimal stock levels across multiple distribution centres while meeting customer delivery requirements. The position involves raising and managing purchase and work orders, maintaining strong supplier relationships, monitoring demand forecasts, and ensuring accurate system data. The role also supports issue resolution, including supplier invoice discrepancies, delivery delays, and non-conforming materials, to maintain an efficient and reliable supply chain

Key Responsibilities
