Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks an experienced Business Systems Analyst in Bengaluru to define BI requirements, design and test financial reporting, and partner cross-functionally to drive data-driven decisions. The role focuses on automation, data collection, trend inference, and delivering executive-ready insights.

You will collaborate with Product, Platform, Partnerships, and Finance teams to implement solutions, launch new functionality, and monitor system accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics, Finance, Payments
• Proficient in extracting and processing data using Advanced SQL and scripting (Python preferred) to automate manual work
• Hands on experience with data analysis and providing useful insights
• Experience working with variety of databases and large data sets
• Experience building visualizations and dashboards using Looker/Tableau or similar
• Experience with version control & tools such as Git/Gitlab, Jupyter Notebook, etc
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholders
• Ability to work in a high-volume, ambiguous environment

About The Role

As Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for defining business intelligence requirements for individual subject areas; You Will design, develop, build, and test controls & financial reporting for external & internal stakeholders. You Will work cross-functionally to collect data, infer trends from a variety of data sources and deliver interpretation to make recommendations to executives. You Will help to launch new functionality and markets, adapting to requirements and monitoring our systems for accuracy and efficiency.
