Job summary

Avalon Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to work with the COO, driving business performance through data-driven insights, governance, and reviews in a manufacturing setting.

You will coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Plant teams; build dashboards and MIS reports; prepare board materials and action trackers; monitor progress and flag risks to ensure timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; MBA preferred.
• Experience in business analysis, program management, manufacturing operations, supply chain, business excellence, strategy, or transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience in structured project and program management, cross-functional stakeholder coordination, and execution of business initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of manufacturing performance drivers and operational metrics.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, management reporting, and data analysis tools; ERP/BI/manufacturing systems experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive COO-led strategic initiatives, including business planning, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and operational excellence programs and strategic business initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering, Commercial, and Plant functions to ensure effective execution.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, KPI trackers, performance summaries, and analytical reports to support business reviews and decision-making.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, briefing notes, board materials, leadership review packs, meeting minutes, decision logs, and action trackers.
• Monitor progress against commitments, follow up with stakeholders, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues when needed.
