Job summary

Skypoint Bengaluru invites fresh graduates to join as a QA tester, focusing on testing software features from the perspective of real business users and validating functionality beyond the UI. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and clarity of requirements.

You will collaborate with engineering to document and verify fixes, participate in Agile SDLC cycles, and perform manual and exploratory testing across multiple scenarios to ensure robust software delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2024–2026 with a B.E./B.Tech in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong logical thinking and attention to detail.
• Fundamental knowledge of manual and functional testing.
• Familiar with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Understanding Agile SDLC practices.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

About the role:

• Test software features and systems from the perspective of actual business users and stakeholders, going beyond surface-level interface checks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, document, and verify fixes for quality issues
• Participate in testing cycles aligned with Agile and SDLC practices
• Execute both manual test cases and exploratory testing to validate functionality across different scenarios

What we're looking for:

• Graduating in 2024, 2025, or 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Sharp analytical thinking with the ability to structure problems logically and catch inconsistencies
• Foundational knowledge of manual testing and functional testing methodologies
• Working familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Understanding of how Agile development and the software development lifecycle work in practice
• Strong written and verbal communication paired with a genuine interest in working alongside others
• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing requirements and validating outcomes

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks including Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and how backend systems interact with frontend applications
• Previous internship, course project, or personal work focused on QA, test automation, or product quality
• Prior exposure to healthcare platforms, senior living technology, or enterprise SaaS environments
