Job summary

Tareo is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to craft and sustain automated test suites across multiple software layers. The role covers functional, regression, integration, and API testing, with defect detection and tracking throughout the development cycle.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to diagnose root causes, improve automation frameworks, and ensure quality at every milestone. Experience with CI/CD integration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
• Solid grounding in software testing principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks—Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
• Programming in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with REST API architecture and the ability to test APIs effectively.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational or non-relational databases.
• Comfort working with Git version control and CI/CD platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to debug issues systematically and solve problems independently.

• You’ll enhance and refine the automation frameworks and methodologies your team relies on.
• Participation in test planning sessions and release readiness checks ensures quality at every milestone.
• Integration of test automation into CI/CD workflows will be a regular responsibility, enabling continuous validation.

What you'll bring:
