Job summary

Datwyler IT is seeking a senior Business Process Expert to drive harmonization and implementation of end-to-end Plan to Produce processes on a global scale. You will shape governance, support SAP S/4HANA and MES transformation programs, and translate business needs into functional specifications with IT partners.

The role focuses on designing standardized processes, optimizing operations across global locations, and enabling data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end Plan to Produce processes and related integrations across ERP and manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of BPM methodologies, process governance and continuous improvement approaches.
• Experience with SAP ERP environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA, including SAP PP/PP-PI, SAP MM and SAP QM.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, harmonization and global implementation of standardized end-to-end Plan to Produce processes.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency, process quality, transparency and system integration.
• Support global SAP S/4HANA and MES transformation programs by defining business process requirements and ensuring alignment with the target process model.
• Translate business requirements into functional process and system specifications in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Promote process standardization across global manufacturing sites.
• Support process governance activities including process documentation, performance management, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Execute process analysis and identify improvement opportunities based on KPIs and data.
• Support testing, system qualification and deployment activities related to process changes.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration between manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality and IT.

Job description

Support the Global Business Process Owner (BPO) in driving the global harmonization, standardization, implementation and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Plan to Produce process landscape.

The role ensures sustainable and scalable business processes aligned with the companys target operating model and future SAP S/4HANA architecture. The Business Process Expert contributes to process governance, deployment activities, business transformation and operational excellence across all global manufacturing locations.

The scope covers the end-to-end Plan to Produce process including:

• Demand Planning
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Production Planning and Scheduling
• Capacity and Resource Planning
• Production Order Management
• Manufacturing Execution and Confirmation
• Goods Receipt and Inventory Updates
• Production Settlement and Reporting

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Support the development, harmonization and global implementation of standardized end-to-end Plan to Produce processes
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency, process quality, transparency and system integration
• Support global SAP S/4HANA and MES transformation programs by defining business process requirements and ensuring alignment with the target process model.

• Contribute to fit-to-standard process design and promote process standardization across global manufacturing sites
• Support process governance activities including process documentation, process performance management, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Execute process analysis and identify improvement opportunities based on operational KPIs, business requirements and process performance data
• Support testing, system qualification and deployment activities related to process and system changes
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and alignment between manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality and IT organizations
• Drive transparency and process excellence by establishing a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making
• Support organizational change management and user adoption during transformation and deployment initiatives
• Coordinate process-related housekeeping and data quality initiatives within the supported systems landscape

Skills & Technical Competences & Behaviors

Technical Competencies:

• Strong expertise in end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes within a global industrial environment
• Deep understanding of Plan to Produce processes and related integrations across ERP and manufacturing systems
• Experience with SAP ERP environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA, including:
• SAP PP / PP-PI
• SAP MM
• SAP QM
• Integration points to SAP SD and MES solutions
• Experience in global transformation programs and ERP deployments.
• Strong analytical and process modelling capabilities.
• Knowledge of BPM methodologies, process governance and continuous improvement approaches
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, planning concepts and production execution processes
