Job summary

ChargePoint in Bangalore, India seeks a Business Operations Manager to monitor and improve gross margins via detailed analysis of billings, costs, systems, tools, processes, and metrics. A solid understanding of financial and operational metrics for the Customer Experience Business Unit is essential for this role.

The position requires an engineering/finance/business background with MBA and 8+ years in finance or operations within tech, and a readiness to work US East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with an MBA and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Finance or Business Operations within a customer experience function in a technology-oriented industry.
• Experience in P&L forecasting.
• Strong business acumen and analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in gross margin and profitability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS applications and advanced user of Tableau, Jira, and Confluence.
• Willingness to work during US East Coast hours.

What you will be Doing

As theBusiness Operations Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving gross margins through detailed analysis of billings, costs, systems, tools, processes, and metrics. A solid understanding of financial and operational metrics for the Customer Experience Business Unit, as well as operational processes including inventory management, repairs, and vendor management, is essential for this role.
