Job summary

ChargePoint in Bangalore, India, is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to define DevOps vision, own complex system designs, and guide automation, reliability, and scalability at enterprise scale.

You will lead CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes and service mesh adoption, mentor engineers, drive incident response, and collaborate with product groups to align strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with leadership exposure.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, service mesh, and microservices deployment.
• Strong background in automation, observability, and performance tuning.
• Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will be a strategic technical leader, defining DevOps vision across the organization. You’ll own complex system designs, influence cross-functional teams, and set standards for automation, reliability, and scalability at enterprise scale.
