Stockify is a fintech marketplace for pre-IPO and unlisted shares, expanding its Mumbai operations. We seek a Business Operations Executive to manage back-office workflows, ensure accuracy of trade documentation, and keep client interactions swift and reliable.

The role sits at the intersection of sales, finance, compliance and client servicing. You will own processes, spot errors early, and help the team deliver with speed and precision.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in fintech/financial services operations or trade support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with data handling and basic formulas.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade operations for unlisted share transactions, including documentation and settlement tracking.
• Handle client onboarding documentation and KYC in coordination with compliance.
• Serve as the operational point of contact between sales, clients and back-office.
• Maintain daily MIS reports, transaction logs and dashboards for Mumbai team.
• Coordinate with finance on invoice generation and reconciliation for completed transactions.
• Track pending, in-progress and completed transactions, flag delays or discrepancies.
• Support the Mumbai sales team with data, templates and process assistance.
• Identify and propose improvements to operational workflows.

Behind every successful trade on our platform is a tight operations team that keeps documentation accurate, settlements on track and clients informed. As we scale our Mumbai business, we need a sharp operations professional who takes ownership of processes and never lets a detail slip through the cracks.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Operations Executive to manage the back-office and operational workflows for our Mumbai office. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of sales, finance, compliance and client servicing. You will be responsible for ensuring that every trade, every document and every client interaction is handled with accuracy and speed.

The ideal candidate is someone who finds satisfaction in making systems work smoothly, who spots errors before they become problems, and who communicates clearly across teams to keep operations moving without delays. This is not a glamorous role, but it is an absolutely essential one for a growing fintech company where operational failures have direct financial and reputational consequences.

What You Will Do

• Manage end-to-end trade operations for unlisted share transactions, including buy and sell documentation, share transfer coordination, demat credit tracking and settlement monitoring
• Handle client onboarding documentation and KYC verification in coordination with compliance requirements, ensuring all records are complete, accurate and securely maintained
• Serve as the operational point of contact between the sales team, clients and the back-office, providing timely updates on transaction status and resolving process bottlenecks
• Maintain daily MIS reports, transaction logs and operational dashboards for review by the Mumbai team lead and senior management
• Coordinate with the finance team on invoice generation, payment confirmation and reconciliation for completed transactions
• Track pending, in-progress and completed transactions across the CRM and internal systems, flagging delays or discrepancies immediately
• Support the Mumbai sales team with operational data, documentation templates and process assistance to help them close deals faster
• Continuously identify and suggest improvements to operational workflows based on patterns and recurring issues

What We Are Looking For

• One to three years of experience in operations, back-office processing or trade support within fintech, stock broking, wealth management, NBFC or financial services
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, basic formulas and report formatting
• High attention to detail and a zero-tolerance approach to documentation errors
• Good written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and clients
• A process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy
• Familiarity with CRM tools and basic financial transaction workflows is an advantage

Compensation and Benefits

• Fixed CTC: Rs. 4.0 Lakhs per annum
• Performance Incentives: Bonus of up to 1 to 3 months of monthly salary, paid based on individual and company performance
• Review Cycle: Performance review at 6 months with potential for salary revision
