Job summary

Docyt, a FinTech startup headquartered in Silicon Valley, seeks an Accounts Manager to supervise a team and manage bookkeeping for US-based clients. You will work with Docyt software and QuickBooks Online, preparing balance sheets, P&L, and other financial reports, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in account management within accounting, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate across time zones, including some weekend overlap.

Job description

Work will involve supervising the work of the team; communicating with US-based clients, account bookkeeping as an accounts manager for businesses of our premiere clients, and working on our proprietary Docyt software and QuickBooks online accounting software.

No tax and No audit work is involved.

Candidate should have good knowledge of preparing balance sheets, P&L statements, income & expenditure statements, verifying & reconciling entries in a chart of account & bank accounts, posting month-end journal entries, preparing financial reports, payroll processing, etc.

We expect candidates to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and the ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.

Requirements

• Learn and utilize Docyts proprietary software to assist in account bookkeeping for our US-based clients, QuickBooks knowledge is required as well
• The candidate should have good knowledge of the following:
• US Accounting
• Preparing balance sheets, P&L statements, income and expenditure statements
• Reconciling a chart of accounts (including bank accounts)
• Posting month-end journal entries
• Preparing financial reports (including payroll processing)

We expect candidates to maintain the highest level of integrity to uphold the confidentiality of sensitive financial data

• This job will require some overlap of U.S.-time zones and may require some Saturday and Sunday flexibility dependent upon the needs of the client.
• Base location- Noida Sec 62
• Available for night shifts as needed to communicate with customers effectively
• 5+ years of recent experience in account management related to accounting - customer-facing experience is required
• Good verbal and English writing skills are a must for communicating with our U.S.-based clients
• Knowledge of Quickbooks
• Ability to lead and motivate team members with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic startup environment
