Job summary

Prudential HCL Health Insurance in Mumbai seeks a BI/Data Analytics professional to support MIS reporting and data-driven decision-making. You will prepare dashboards, analyze data for actionable insights, and ensure data accuracy across reports.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, automate reporting processes with Excel and Power BI, and contribute to performance tracking and variance analysis for leadership reviews. BFSI exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• MBA or Engineering background required.
• 2-7 years of experience in BI / Data Analytics / Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL.
• Good stakeholder coordination and data handling skills.
• Experience in BFSI domain preferred.

The BIU & Data Analytics is responsible for supporting business intelligence, reporting, and data analytics activities to enable data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on preparing MIS, analysing data, and delivering actionable insights while ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports and dashboards to facilitate effective monitoring of business performance and key operational metrics.
• Analyse data to generate actionable business insights, identifying key trends and patterns to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all reports through robust validation and quality checks.
• Support automation of reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other analytics platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reporting solutions aligned with business needs.
• Assist in performance tracking and variance analysis, providing insights into deviations against plans and supporting corrective actions.
• Support senior team members in developing presentations and reports for leadership reviews, ensuring clarity and impact of data insights.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in reporting frameworks, with a focus on automation, standardisation, and scalability.
