Role & responsibilities

P&L Head

As P&L Head of Sales owns the entire revenue, gross margin, and operating profit of a business unit while leading commercial strategy and sales execution.

Business Development & Client Management

• Actively scout for new clients in residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
• Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Understand client project requirements and translate them into tailored solutions.
• Lead negotiation and closure of major contracts and service agreements.
• Ideate and launch the B2C vertical for the Company.

Strategic Leadership

• Define and drive the companys vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals.
• Identify growth opportunities in new markets, services, and products.
• Build partnerships and alliances that align with the company's goals.

Operational Management

• Ensure smooth coordination between departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Implement processes for continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.

  Financial Oversight

  • Take ownership of the companys financial health including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor costs, optimize resource allocation, and ensure profitability across projects.
  • Collaborate with finance teams for funding, investments, and financial planning.

  Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build and lead a high-performing leadership team.
  • Foster a performance-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative culture.
  • Ensure employee development, retention, and organizational alignment with business goals.

  Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 12 to 16 years of experience in a leadership role within the paint, construction, or allied industries.
  • Proven track record in business development and managing end-to-end project execution.
  • Strong operational acumen with the ability to lead both strategic initiatives and hands-on execution.
  • Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and a passion for growth.
  • Bachelor's Engineering degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
