wowJobs is seeking a Head of Exports for an established Indian engineering and technology manufacturer selling into utilities. This is a business-building mandate with board backing to scale the international footprint.
You will own full P&L for the international business, define market entry strategies across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, and lead multi-country teams with direct sales, channel networks, and complex tender processes.
wowJobs Executive Search (wJes) is a retained executive search practice working with promoter-led businesses, family enterprises and listed companies across India, the Gulf and Africa.
We work on mandates across the globe and we work them properly — mapping the full universe of relevant leaders in a market rather than circulating a job description and waiting. Our practices span industrial and manufacturing, pharma and healthcare, technology, media, financial services and consumer businesses, supported by a dedicated research team.
What our clients tend to value: we are candid about who is genuinely available and who is not, we do not present candidates we would not back ourselves, and we stay engaged well past the offer. Confidential mandates like this one are a large part of what we do — discretion on both sides is the default, not the exception.
Our client is an established, profitable Indian engineering and technology manufacturer selling into utilities. They are now making a serious commitment to international markets and are hiring a Head of Exports to lead it.
The mandate is straightforward and large: build the export business to USD 100 million (approximately INR 1,000 crore).
This is not a role managing an existing export desk. It is a business-building role, with the resources and board-level backing to match.
We are open on base location. Delhi, Singapore, Dubai, or anywhere in the United States. Significant international travel is expected.
Compensation is fixed plus performance-linked variable, structured according to base location. The final package will reflect experience and track record.
