Job summary

NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning in Bengaluru, part of IIM Bangalore, seeks a Business Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities. You will build financial models, drive cost-roll up, and participate in strategic initiatives with senior leadership.

The role requires 6-8 years in Finance, an MBA in Finance and professional certifications, with exposure to startup incubation advantageous. Strong reporting and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance, CA/CMA.
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Business Finance/FP&A.
• Exposure to Startup incubation/ecosystem will be an added advantage.
• Excellent business planning & execution abilities.
• Reporting skills, hands on with MS Office tools.
• Exposure to Power BI, dashboards will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the Budget preparation & consolidation process in close coordination with the Program/Business teams.
• Own the business Planning & forecast process, by creating/maintaining financial models and drive cost-roll up & rate card initiatives.
• Participate in new business initiatives & strategy & their execution.
• Publish Management reports that help drive the overall strategy by tracking KPI’s & providing reports on financial performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore’s startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section‑8 not‑for‑profit entity.

NSRCEL’s mission is to support ventures in the start‑up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1106 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns in the country.

NSRCEL is supported by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation, among others to support idea stage and early‑revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate‑tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact.

What you will be doing
