Job summary

Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited, a division of Vedanta Limited, is seeking a Business Finance Controller to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Metal division. You will drive divisional MIS, dashboarding, and board presentations while ensuring compliance and strong internal controls.

The role partners with business leaders for strategic decisions and requires CA with 7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• CA qualification mandatory with strong finance experience.
• MBA in Finance desirable for strategic insights.
• 7 years of relevant experience in business finance or divisional controlling.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the Metal division.
• Drive divisional MIS, financial dashboards, performance reviews, and Board presentations.
• Ensure statutory, taxation, governance, and internal control compliance.
• Partner with business leaders to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions.
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and audit processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Drive digital transformation and process improvements in finance ops.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the Metal division.
• Drive divisional MIS, financial dashboards, performance reviews, and Board presentations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, governance, and internal control requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor performance against targets and recommend timely corrective actions.
• Strengthen financial controls, risk-management practices, and audit compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Drive digital transformation and process improvement across finance operations.

Education Qualification | Work-Ex| Desired Attributes

• Chartered Accountant (CA) is essential; first-attempt CA preferred or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 60% marks in Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential;
• A maximum gap of one year is allowed either between Class 12 and Graduation or between Graduation and Post-Graduation.
• 7 years of relevant experiencein business finance, financial planning and analysis, or divisional controlling roles.
