Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank seeks a Business Development Officer for the UCV desk in Maharashtra. You will source and nurture a pipeline for Used Commercial Vehicle loans, engage dealers and referrals, and ensure timely documentation for loan proposals.

You will maintain professional customer interactions, coordinate across product teams to cross-sell savings, current accounts, and FASTag where applicable, and strictly adhere to RBI and statutory regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant degree qualifications as listed.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills preferred.
• Familiarity with lending processes and RBI regulatory requirements desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent pipeline of used CV loan applications through direct sourcing, dealers, and references.
• Manage relationships with customers and respond to requirements promptly and professionally.
• Ensure timely collection of documentation for loan proposals and accuracy in processing.
• Generate and pass leads for cross-sell products (savings/current accounts, deposits, FASTag as applicable).
• Ensure compliance with RBI and other regulatory requirements.

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of Used Commercial Vehicles through direct sourcing, Dealers, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies
