Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Portfolio Management Services client acquisition and AUM growth in India. You will identify high-net-worth individuals, meet with them to present PMS strategies, and convert leads into signed mandates.

You will also coordinate onboarding, documentation, KYC and fund transfers, while building a robust pipeline through referrals, events and relationships to enhance market presence.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in client acquisition or business development in wealth/asset management
• Experience in investor relations at PMS/AIF or fund house
• Strong understanding of PMS/AIF products and SEBI PMS regulations

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and onboard HNI and UHNI clients for the PMS offering
• Conduct client meetings, present PMS philosophy and strategy, convert leads into mandates
• Prepare tailored investment proposals, pitch decks and information memoranda
• Manage end-to-end onboarding including documentation, KYC, account opening and transfers
• Build and nurture a pipeline through referrals, events and relationships
• Represent the firm at investor summits and industry forums
• Coordinate with PMS research to stay updated on fund performance and positioning
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, leads and pipeline status

A Portfolio Management Services division is hiring a Business Development Manager for client acquisition and AUM growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect and onboard HNI and UHNI clients for the PMS offering
• Conduct client meetings, present the PMS investment philosophy and strategy, and convert leads into signed mandates
• Prepare and deliver tailored investment proposals, pitch decks and information memoranda
• Manage end-to-end client onboarding including documentation, KYC, account opening and fund transfer coordination
• Build and nurture a pipeline through referrals, networking, events and existing relationships
• Represent the firm at investor summits, wealth conclaves, seminars and industry forums
• Coordinate with portfolio management and research to stay current on fund performance and market positioning
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, leads and pipeline status

Candidate profile: 3-6 years across one or more of client acquisition or business development in wealth or asset management; relationship management for HNI and UHNI clients at a PMS, AIF or mutual fund; investor relations at a fund house, PMS provider or family office; or sales of financial products including PMS, mutual funds, bonds and AIFs to high-net-worth individuals. Strong understanding of PMS and AIF products, SEBI PMS regulations and the competitive landscape
