Job summary

Attero is seeking a procurement professional to manage scrap buying and metal trading activities across supplier networks. You will verify material grade and quantity, coordinate with yards and quality teams, and track prices to ensure profitable landed costs.

You will prepare POs, align logistics, verify documents, and maintain compliance, including GST/PAN and environmental obligations, while traveling to supplier sites and stockyards as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in scrap buying, metal trading, recycling, or commodity sourcing.
• Knowledge of non-ferrous scrap grades, metal identification, recovery/yield, and processing losses.
• Ability to calculate landed cost and purchase profitability.
• Familiarity with GST/e-way bill documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and procurement software.

Responsibilities
