Job summary

Attero is seeking an experienced procurement professional for scrap buying and metal trading in Uttar Pradesh. You will verify material, track prices, and manage supplier relationships while ensuring compliance and profitability.

The role requires travel to suppliers and industrial units, experience in non‑ferrous scrap, and proficient use of Excel/ERP systems for reporting and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of scrap buying, metal trading, recycling, or commodity sourcing experience.
• Knowledge of non‑ferrous scrap grades, metal identification, recovery/yield, and processing losses.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to calculate landed cost and purchase profitability.
• Familiarity with commodity prices, regional scrap markets, and GST/e‑way bill documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and procurement software.
• Strong communication and field‑verification skills.
• High integrity and adherence to compliance standards.
• Willingness to travel regularly to suppliers, industrial units, dismantlers, and stockyards.
