- Track and respond to RFIs, RFPs, EOIs, and tenders on GeM, defense e‑procurement portals, and through direct engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with defense customers, nodal officers, system integrators, and channel partners.
- Support participation in defense programs and initiatives (e.g., iDEX, Make‑I/II, indigenization / Aatmanirbhar Bharat opportunities).
- Interpret operational and technical requirements (GSQR/QR / tender specifications) and map them to the right UAV platform, payload, and configuration.
- Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, quotations, and structured responses to tenders and RFPs.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and support field trials, flight demos, and proof‑of‑concept (POC) evaluations in varied terrain and conditions.
- Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering / product teams.
- Conduct competitor, capability, and market analysis to support positioning and pricing.
Support & Coordination
- Represent the company at defense exhibitions and events (e.g., Def Expo, Aero India, and similar).
- Support compliance with procurement documentation, indigenous content (IDDM) requirements, and trial protocols.
- Coordinate with operations for demo logistics, trials, and post‑sale handover.
- Gather customer/field feedback to inform the product roadmap.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering — Aerospace, ECE, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in pre‑sales, business development, or technical sales — defense / aerospace / UAV / electronics industry strongly preferred.
- Working understanding UAV systems: airframes (fixed‑wing, VTOL, multirotor), flight controllers, datalinks, ground control stations, and payloads (EO/IR gimbals, LiDAR, and other ISR sensors).
- Awareness of defense procurement processes — DAP, tendering, trials/evaluation, and GeM / e‑procurement — is a strong plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and proposal/compliance‑writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience is an advantage.
- Self‑driven, organized, and comfortable with long, documentation‑heavy defense sales cycles.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, field trials, demos, and events.
