Aquila Technologies and Integration Solutions in Dadri (UP) seeks a motivated Business Development Executive to drive growth through government, defence, aerospace and commercial portals. You will manage registrations, evaluate tenders, prepare technical/commercial proposals and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure compliant bid submissions.

Essential experience includes tender management, proposal development and cost estimation with strong writing and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, tender management, proposal management and techno-commercial activities.
  • Strong knowledge of government and defence procurement processes, including GeM, HAL, CPP Portal and other e-procurement platforms.
  • Experience in preparing EOIs, RFIs, RFPs, technical proposals, commercial bids, compliance matrices and tender documentation.
  • Knowledge of cost estimation, pricing strategies, commercial bid preparation and project costing.
  • Strong technical writing, proposal development, documentation and presentation skills.
  • Experience in contract review, contract requirement analysis, commercial terms evaluation and identification of contractual risks / deviations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and customer relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor tender opportunities, evaluate bid eligibility and ensure timely submission of EOIs, RFIs, RFPs, commercial tenders and other bid documents.
  • Review tender specifications, customer requirements, and technical documents to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, technical write-ups, presentations and bid documentation aligned with customer requirements.
  • Develop technical and commercial solutions in coordination with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance and project teams.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, manufacturing, labour, logistics and project execution to support commercial proposals.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks related to tender compliance, project schedules, cost overruns and contractual obligations.
  • Track tender milestones, bid schedules, approvals and submission deadlines while ensuring adherence to contractual and organizational requirements.
  • Coordinate with customers, government agencies, OEMs, vendor and internal stakeholders for technical discussions, bid clarifications and proposal development.
  • Support customer meetings, technical presentations, pre-bid meetings, negotiations and post-award project handover activities.
  • Maintain tender documentation, proposal records, customer communications and business development databases while ensuring document accuracy and revision control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, government organizations, defence establishments, OEMs and strategic business partners.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
1. Position Overview.

support the business development teams efforts to identify new opportunities, manage client relationships, and drive the growth of our company. This position involves a variety of tasks, including research, data analysis, and administrative support.

2. Responsibilities.

I. Identify and pursue business opportunities through government, defence, aerospace and commercial procurement portals.

II. Manage registrations and participate in e-procurement platforms such as GeM, HAL, CPP Portal and other government tender portals.

III. Monitor tender opportunities, evaluate bid eligibility and ensure timely submission of EOIs, RFIs, RFPs, commercial tenders and other bid documents.

3. Required Skills.

IX. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

X. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 Rev D and applicable aerospace/defence quality standards

XI. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, procurement, finance, quality, manufacturing and project management team.

4. Educational & Experience Requirements.

Essential.

Engineer graduate having exposure in IT Software and Peripherals.

Experience in Defence/Aerospace business development, tendering, bidding or technical sales.

34 years of relevant experience.

Desirable.

Prior experience and exposure with Indian Armed Forces, DRDO, DPSUs or defence OEMs.

Experience in preparing technical/commercial bids.

Experience in defence electronics or avionics.

Existing professional network within the Defence ecosystem.

BBA/MBA/PG qualification in Business Development/Marketing will be an advantage.
