Job summary

Urban Pgm Recycler is seeking a Junior Buyer / Field Inspector / Sr Buyer Metal Scrap to drive on-ground procurement. You will visit supplier yards, inspect metal scrap and catalytic converters, assist in buying and coordinate packing and dispatch, while building supplier relations and gathering market data.

Roles involve alertness, travel, and growing from field inspector to buyer based on performance. The position offers opportunity across PAN India markets with frequent travel and hands-on

Qualifications

• 12th pass/ITI/BBA/Graduate (qualification may modify profile).
• Comfortable with field work and frequent travel.
• Willingness to learn, honest, alert, disciplined in unstructured markets.
• Good observation skills with basic documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and buying metal scrap.
• Visit scrap markets and suppliers to buy parts.
• Inspect catalytic converters for code/model verification and ceramic checks.
• Prepare commercial sheets and inspection records accurately.
• Travel to scrap yards, vehicle dismantlers, aggregators and informal markets.
• Negotiate pricing and support buying activities with Senior Buyer.
• Coordinate packing, labeling and dispatch of purchased material.
• Collect market intelligence and supplier information.

Role Summary

We are looking for a high-energy, Feld-oriented Marketing Person (Junior Buyer / Field Inspector ) who thrives on ground execution. This role involves supplier visits, Scrap Metal & parts inspection , assisted buying, packing and dispatch coordination, and regular market visits with or without a Senior Buyer. The candidate will support procurement operations, build supplier relationships with vehicle dismantlers and traders, and help inspect or purchase catalytic converter scrap across assigned markets.

Key Responsibilities

• INSPECTING & BUYING METAL SCRAP
• Make Good relationship with Suppliers , Do Follwup calls .
• Visit Scrap Markets & Suppliers to buy Scrapped Auto parts
• Inspect catalytic converters, including code/model verifcation and ceramic checks.
• Identify empty, cut, fake, mixed or damaged units before purchase or dispatch.
• Prepare commercial sheets, and inspection records accurately.
• Travel to scrap yards, vehicle dismantlers, aggregators and informal markets.
• Negotiate pricing . Support buying activities with the Senior Buyer and gradually handle small purchases independently.
• Coordinate packing, labelling and dispatch of purchased material.
• Collect market intelligence, supplier information and competitor price inputs.

Qualification

12th Pass/ ITI/ BBA/ Graduate. [ Based on quallification , job Profile will be modfied Slightly]

Requirements

Comfortable with Feld work, frequent travel and supplier interaction. Good observation skills with basic documentation discipline. Willingness to learn , Honest, alert, disciplined and comfortable working in unstructured markets.
