Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a data management professional to clean, model, and govern large datasets. You will enrich data from Salesforce, ensure governance, and support the customer experience data strategy across a global matrix organization.

The role requires 3–5 years in data management, strong MS Excel skills, and experience with SQL/Python/R/Power BI. A graduate degree and fluent English are required, with on-site work in Hyderabad, India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: structure data, remove inaccuracies and duplicates.
• Data Quality Management: monitor quality and implement improvement actions.
• Data Enrichment: integrate data from Salesforce CRM and ensure governance alignment.
• Data Modeling: develop models for segmentation and analytics.
• Master Data Management: contribute to MDM strategy and roadmap.
• Customer Experience Data Strategy Support: assist data collection and modeling for CX.
• Documentation & Enablement: create docs and training materials for stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: collaborate with data owners across functions and geographies.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Clean and structure data to remove inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and duplicates. Prepare datasets through normalization, transformation, and encoding.
• Data Quality Management: Monitor and audit data quality on a regular basis, implementing actions to maintain and continuously improve data standards.
• Data Enrichment: Gather and integrate additional customer-related data (primarily from Salesforce CRM), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with the defined data architecture. Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to support business needs, including segmentation, structuring, and analytical use cases.
• Master Data Management: Contribute to and execute the Master Data Management strategy and roadmap.
• Customer Experience Data Strategy Support: Support the implementation of data collection, storage, and modeling strategies for the Customer Experience function.
• Documentation & Enablement: Develop documentation and training materials to support stakeholders and embed Master Data Management best practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships and foster effective communication with data owners and stakeholders across functions and geographies.

Requirements

Education: Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, IT, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience

Language: Fluent or native English (written and spoken)

Technical Skills

• Advanced MS Excel
• Experience with Salesforce
• Knowledge (novice to intermediate) of SQL, Python, -R, or Power BI is a strong asset

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years overall experience, minimum 2+ years in data management, including:

• Processing and managing data from multiple sources
• Driving data quality improvement initiatives using root cause analysis
• Interfacing with business stakeholders

Experience in a corporate business environment
