Position Overview

Location: Mumbai, India

Branch Banking is the liability business for Deutsche Bank present in 17 locations across India. It caters to a wide variety of populations through channels like Personal Banking, Private Banking, and Business Banking.

The primary objective is to enhance the value of the existing trade account portfolio.

Job Title: Business Banking Manager, Associate

Role Description

Responsible for advising/supporting business clients with complex credit financing needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advising on credit-related client solutions and assessing loans from income and risk perspectives.
2. Preparing credit submissions for approval and monitoring credit exposures.
3. Identifying clients’ credit needs and proposing suitable products or solutions.
4. Supporting efforts to gain new business and grow earnings from existing clients.
5. Developing bespoke products/solutions and ensuring they meet client and bank needs.
6. Ensuring resource utilization aligns with performance targets and regulatory guidelines.
7. Maintaining and growing business contacts and leads in lending.
8. Implementing KYC and other regulatory compliance measures.

Skills and Experience

1. Experience in servicing or sourcing clients, especially in liabilities for Capital accounts (FDI/ODI/ECB).
2. Preferred background in Banking, Premium club membership, or High-End Credit card sales.
3. Excellent English communication skills and well-groomed appearance.
4. Minimum qualification: Graduation.
5. Experience: 5-10 years in relevant field.
