Job summary

Stolt-Nielsen is seeking a Business Application Consultant (Oracle ERP) to support reporting, analytics, and business applications within Oracle Fusion. You will work with OTBI and contribute to data intelligence initiatives while growing into broader Oracle Applications consulting.

With 3+ years of Oracle experience, you will collaborate with senior consultants to analyze requirements, deliver reports and dashboards, and support Oracle ERP Financials initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/BA/Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle applications and reporting.
• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud/Fusion Financials.
• Exposure to OTBI ( Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence ).
• Exposure to or interest in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) is desirable.
• Strong SQL skills and data validation ability.
• Ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and a good team player.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Application Consultant (Oracle ERP) to support and enhance reporting, analytics, and business applications within the Oracle Fusion environment. This role will work closely with senior Oracle Application Consultants and focus primarily on Oracle ERP Financials while contributing to reporting solutions using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 3+ years of Oracle experience who is eager to grow into a broader Oracle Applications consulting role. Over time, the role may expand to include exposure to Oracle HCM applications and reporting.

What You’ll Do:

• Support business stakeholders by developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytics within Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Build and enhance reporting solutions using OTBI, with exposure to Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) where applicable.
• Collaborate with senior Oracle Application Consultants to analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting and application solutions.
• Work with Oracle ERP Financials subject areas, data structures, and transactions to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support ongoing Oracle application enhancements, testing, and issue resolution activities.
• Document business processes, reporting requirements, and solution designs.
• Partner with business users and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of Oracle-related initiatives.
• Continuously learn and expand knowledge across Oracle ERP, reporting, and analytics technologies.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Oracle applications, reporting, or business systems.
• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud/Fusion Financials.
• Exposure to OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).
• Exposure to or interest in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) is highly desirable.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze and validate data.
• Understanding of data models, reporting concepts, and relational databases.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new Oracle technologies.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
• Experience with Oracle HCM reporting or data structures.
• Oracle DBA or database administration background.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Azure DevOps.
• Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.
