Job summary

C&A Sourcing Jobs Asia is seeking a skilled data engineering/BI professional to empower supply chain decisions. You will integrate data from ERP, WMS, PO systems and third parties, build dbt models, and design dashboards to drive visibility and performance across the network.

You will collaborate with the Data Warehouse team, create a single source of truth for supply chain data, and define KPIs to support business strategies and daily operations, combining analytics with practical business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, Python, and Snowflake.
• Strong data modelling knowledge: grain, keys, slowly-changing dimensions, incremental loads, idempotency.
• Experience handling large multi-TB datasets via ETL & data processing.
• Experience with R, SAS, or Matlab for statistical analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or MicroStrategy.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate data needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Experience in fashion industry, supply chain, omni-channel operations.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data from legacy ERP, warehouse management, PO systems, POS and third-party feeds within governance framework.
• Build and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate and mart layers for the supply-chain domain.
• Design and implement business reporting / dashboard for the Supply Chain teams to support strategy and day-to-day operations.
• Provide day-to-day operation-level data & analysis support to operation team to improve lead time, forecast, capacity & cost.
• Carry out complex analyses to support business decisions (e.g. Network design, DC locations).
• Collaborate with Data Warehouse team to create robust and scalable data infrastructure to retrieve and analyze data.
• Provide one single source of truth for Supply Chain data.
• Define, recommend, and implement new key performance indicators (e.g. forecast accuracy).
• Scope and create user-friendly and actionable dashboards to provide visibility and insight.

• Build and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate and mart layers for the supply-chain domain.
• Design and implement business reporting / dashboard for the Supply Chain teams to support business strategy and day-to-day operations.
• Provide day-to-day operation-level data & analysis support to operation team so as to improve operational efficiency in terms of lead time, forecast, capacity & cost.
• Carry out complex analysis to support business decisions (e.g. Network design, DC locations, etc.
• Collaborate with Data Warehouse team (DaWaCa) to create robust and scalable data infrastructure to retrieve and analyze data.
• Provide one single source of truth for Supply Chain data.
• Define, recommend, and implement new key performance indicators (e.g. forecast accuracy)
• Scope and create user-friendly and actionable dashboards to provide visibility and insight.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with advanced SQL, dbt (or equivalent), Python for data work, and a cloud warehouse- Snowflake preferred.
• Real understanding of data modelling: grain, keys, slowly-changing dimensions, incremental strategies, idempotency.
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization using PowerBI, MicroStrategy, or similar tools.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and proven track record of an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams at all levels.
• Experience in fashion industry, supply chain, omni-channel operations.
• Strong commitment and dedication to tasks, with a willingness to take on tasks outside of the usual remit.
• Uses AI assistants fluently as part of their engineering workflow, with judgement about output quality.
