Job summary

Paralucent is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with SAP Finance expertise to support complex enterprise initiatives. You will work with business and technical teams across Canada and international locations, translating requirements into functional specifications and ensuring successful delivery.

You will gather and document requirements, analyze SAP FI processes (GL, AP, AR, financial reporting), and facilitate workshops, UAT, and testing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) and finance processes.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Overview

Our consulting client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong SAP Finance functional expertise to support business and technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP Finance (FI) and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, translate business needs into functional requirements, and support successful delivery. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, as the Business Analyst will work with teams across both Canada and international locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and requirements.
• Leverage strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.

Requirements Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology environments.
• Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Finance (FI) .
• Strong understanding of finance-related business processes and how they are supported within SAP.
• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in complex enterprise or consulting environments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

SAP Finance Knowledge

Candidates should have strong functional knowledge of relevant SAP Finance processes, such as:
