Job summary

Aligned Automation is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst / Data Analyst to bridge business needs with data engineering work. The role focuses on delivering robust data solutions and insightful analytics for Fortune 500 clients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will gather requirements, document specifications, and work across teams to ensure data quality, governance, and timely delivery. Strong SQL and BI tools are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst / Data-focused BA.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with large datasets.
• Good understanding of Data Engineering concepts – ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, data modelling.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Snowflake or similar.
• Experience in data profiling, data quality, reconciliation and validation.
• Knowledge of Python/PySpark is an advantage.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau and analytical reporting.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
