Job summary

Accenture in Trivandrum is seeking a Business Analyst to capture user requirements and translate them into business and digitally enabled solutions across industries.

You’ll analyze as-is and design-to-be processes, facilitate client workshops, and detail user stories while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment between requirements and implementation. 2–3 years of experience and Graduation are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Graduation and 2–3 years of experience.
• Must possess strong requirement analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze as-is and to-be processes to identify business, solution and system requirements.
• Facilitate client workshops to elicit and understand requirements.

• Communicate with the team and act as liaison for clarifications on backlog items.
• Plan iterations, refine backlog, and define acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Manage stakeholders as the interface between the team, client, and project manager.
• Identify solution options balancing business value against technical complexity.
• Detail user stories based on client criteria or practice standards.
• Collaborate with external/internal stakeholders affecting roles and deliverables.
• Ensure implementation-level designs align with requirements and manage changes.

Job Summary

You’ll capture user requirements and translate them into business and digitally enabled solutions across a range of industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyzing as-is and design to-be processes to define business, solution and system requirements.
• Organizing and facilitating workshops with clients to elicit and understand their requirements.
• Interacting with various (client) stakeholders to, gain a deep understanding of their needs and represent that knowledge to the rest of the team, while using analysis techniques like story mapping, process modelling and data- and document analysis.
• Facilitating effective communication between the team and acting as a point of contact for clarifications on product backlog items
• Iteration planning, backlog refinement, creating user stories and story acceptance criteria is also part of your scope.
• Stakeholder management and being an interface between your team, the customer and the project manager.
• Identifying various solution options to satisfy our client’s requirements and helping them and our teams make the right decision by carefully weighing business value and technical complexity.
• Creating and detailing user stories based on criteria set by client or your practice
• Collaborating with key external and internal project stakeholders who have a direct impact on their role and deliverables (e.g., decision-makers, Subject Matter Experts)
• Ensuring that requirements and designs at an implementation level are aligned to one another, and managing the changes to related requirements
• Retaining requirement accuracy and consistency throughout and beyond the change during the entire requirements life cycle, and supporting the reuse of requirements in other solutions

Professional and Technical Skill

• Ensuring the specifications and requirements are well-defined and prepared for implementation
• Understanding initial product backlog/ inception documentation to be able to form a complete picture of project scope
• Understanding and contributing to the product backlog item refinement process
• Formulating and communicating issues faced on a project and seeking help from PM/DM/ lead BA.
• Relevant application knowledge of any commerce platforms like SAP Hybris, commerce tools or similar would complete your profile
